But on youtube we don’t really have to download the video now we can bypass all that process and embed only small part of video we want. So here we will see how to embed part of a YouTube video with specific start and end time on blogger and wordpress

So you create a new video or you see someone sharing an amazing video and you want to embed it on your website to share it with your readers. But you Want to add a small portion part of youtube video on website/blogger/wordpress so that your blog readers will see what you want to show them. Then follow these steps.

How To Embed Youtube Videos with Specific Start and End Time

Open HTML editor of your post add the following code

<iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Video_ID?feature=player_embedded&start=140&end=265" width="320"></iframe>

First thing you have to do is to get the specific time you want your embedded video to start and the specific time you want it to end at. Then convert them into seconds. Let’s say you want to embed only the part of the video starting from 02:20 up to 04:25

In seconds, your start time would be ( 2* 60 ) + 20 = 140 and your end time would be ( 4 * 60 ) + 25 = 265

Replace Video_ID with your youtube video id and 140 with your video start time and 265 with your video end time. If you only want to specify a starting time and no end time, you can just omit the end parameter
